In March 2024, we needed some landscape work done. We let the maintenance go, and realized we couldn’t get it back into shape without some professional help. I thought it would be easy to find a company that would work on a xeriscape yard. It wasn’t. There were only two I could find (thanks Thumbtack!). The others were lawn care companies. Demonte, the owner, reached out to me directly. After researching and requesting estimates from him and another company, we decided to go with Pro Turf Improvers. When Jimmy came out to give the estimate, he was very thorough. He walked through everything we wanted done and explained all the charges. He even suggested a French drain to solve a drainage issue with mulch that floated across our driveway when it rained. We hadn’t considered it before he suggested it, and it has completely solved the problem. Demonte, Jimmy, and Josh came out to do the work and made some suggestions about our huge bushes, because they didn’t want to top them, which we agreed with. You can see in the pictures they now look like trees, and we love them! Josh also gave me some tips on how to prune our bushes so they look good again, which I also appreciated. The crew was here for a few days working. In total, there were 4-5 people here each day working. Everyone was extremely polite, professional, and very nice. They cleaned up each evening when they were through. The mulch looks fantastic and the whole crew did a wonderful job. We were really impressed with the service they provided and the results.
